Because of my unique blend of industry, legislative, and teaching experience, I was invited to speak to government leaders about Public-Private Partnerships at the "Innovation, Competitiveness, and Education Forum" in Panama City, Panama on February 12, 2020.
Elected twice to represent the voters of Indiana House District 30 but chose not to run for a third term. As a member of the House of Representatives I served on the House Education, Commerce, and Natural Resources Committees.
My first job after college was an electrical design engineer in the automotive industry. I also worked as a quality engineer and quality manager in medical devices before returning to college mid-career to earn a Ph.D. in Technology Leadership and Innovation.
